“It may be, brethren, that soon you will again experience a time of turmoil, and some of you will be called to take the path of denying those sacred laws and to submit to laws established by mere human authority. Beware of such a path! Beware of the path taken by the thief on the left, for by the weight of blasphemy, by the weight of reviling Christ he went to his eternal perdition. Those who revile the laws of the Church revile Christ Himself, Who is the Head of the Church, for the laws of the Church were given by the Holy Spirit through the Apostles. And the laws of local Churches are based on those same laws and canons of the [Universal] Church. Let us not consider ourselves wiser than those saints and hierarchs who established the canons of the Church; let us not imagine ourselves to be great sages… Then we will not follow the path taken by the ungodly thief, who remained ungodly to the end and descended into the nethermost depths, from which may the Lord deliver us all. Amen.”

“Ar putea fi, fraților, că în curând veți încerca din nou un moment de tulburare, și unii dintre voi vor fi chemați să ia calea de a nega aceste legi sfinte și să se supună legilor stabilite de autoritate umană fără importanță. Feriți-vă de o astfel de cale! Feriți-vă de calea luată de tâlharul din stânga, pentru că prin greutatea hulei, prin greutatea de a-L înfiera/osândi/disprețui/ocărî pe Hristos el s-a dus la a lui pierzanie veșnică. Cei care ocărăsc legile Bisericii îl ocărăsc pe Hristos Însuși, Care este Capul Bisericii, căci legile Bisericii au fost date de Duhul Sfânt prin Apostoli. Iar legile Bisericilor locale se bazează pe aceleași legi și canoane ale Bisericii [Universale].
Să nu ne considerăm pe noi înşine mai înțelepți decât acei sfinți și ierarhi care au stabilit canoanele Bisericii; să nu ne imaginăm pe noi înşine că suntem mari dascăli…
Atunci noi nu vom urma calea luată de nelegiuitul/nedumnezeiescul/nesfântul tâlhar, care a rămas nelegiuit/nedumnezeiesc/nesfant până la sfârșit și a coborât în adâncurile cele mai adânci din care Domnul să ne mântuiască/izbăvească/elibereze pe toți. Amin.”
